About Dr. Riley
Dr. Terry has always been an avid, high performing athlete - focused on nutrition, exercise and optimizing overall health. He initially received his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from SDSU. His proficiency in maximizing performance and recovery from injuries allowed him to work in the athletic training department with the San Diego Chargers and also becoming a National Board Certified Athletic Trainer. Dr. Terry's additional focus on education and research also led him to serve as an assistant instructor to Paul Chek's popular Scientific Abdominal and Back Training courses. He has coached several sports including water skiing, snowboarding and cycling.
Dr. Terry continued to serve as in an athletic trainer in a rehabilitation clinic when his ongoing focus on ways to maximize health and performance, while also treating injuries, led him to his life's passion, Chiropractic. Chiropractic encompassed all the fundamentals of injury treatment, nutrition, performance, and overall health that his years of training and researching had proven to be essential for well-being. He went back to school to realize his dream and years later graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1995.
He is proud to be a part of the award winning team at Spence Chiropractic, sharing his wealth of knowledge, experience and talent with the people we have the opportunity to serve.
"The ability to save lives and restore health through the power of Chiropractic is our passion and purpose at Spence Chiropractic. I love what I do because I see how Chiropractic helps individuals, get relief from pain, reach their peak performance and obtain optimal health." -Dr. Terry
